- Sending an enquiry is free and not binding. An agreement only starts once you accept our written proposal and pay the first invoice.
- SEO starts with a 3-month initial term, then continues month-to-month with 30 days’ written notice. HARO link building runs as a fixed-term campaign of 3, 6 or 12 months and doesn’t renew automatically.
- HARO packages guarantee a minimum number of editorial backlinks. If a target isn’t met within the term, we keep working at no additional cost until it is. No refunds apply.
- Nobody can guarantee rankings, traffic, specific publications or anchor text — and we don’t.
- Once paid, the deliverables we create for you are yours.
1. About these terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to all services provided by Bink Media (“Bink Media”, “we”, “us”) and to every proposal and agreement between us and a client (“you”). They also govern the use of binkmedia.co.

Our services are intended exclusively for businesses and professionals. By entering into an agreement with us, you confirm that you are acting in the course of your business, trade or profession and not as a consumer. Your own general terms and conditions do not apply unless we have expressly accepted them in writing.
2. Our services
We currently offer:
- SEO subscriptions (SEO Essentials, SEO Growth and SEO Scale) — defined monthly search engine optimization work for one website, as described on our SEO packages page;
- HARO link building campaigns (HARO Launch, HARO Growth and HARO Dominance) — fixed-term Digital PR campaigns that earn editorial backlinks through expert responses to journalist requests, as described on our HARO packages page.
The exact scope of your service is the scope described in your accepted proposal or agreement. Where that document is silent, the package description on our website at the time you accepted applies.
3. Enquiries and how an agreement is formed
- Submitting an enquiry or package request through our website, by email or by phone is not binding for either of us. Prices and descriptions on our website are an invitation to enquire, not an offer that can be accepted.
- After an enquiry, we may send you a written proposal or agreement. It states the service, price, currency, start date and any specific arrangements.
- An agreement is formed only when you have accepted that proposal or agreement in writing (a signature or a clear confirmation by email is sufficient) and paid the first invoice.
- We may decline an enquiry without giving a reason — for example if a website is not eligible, if we cannot deliver the work well, or if the request would conflict with these Terms or the law.
- If there is a conflict, the accepted proposal or agreement takes precedence over these Terms, and these Terms take precedence over descriptions on our website.
4. Prices, currency and taxes
- Prices are quoted per region in the currency of your market: USD for clients in the United States, GBP for clients in the United Kingdom and CAD for clients in Canada. The applicable price and currency are confirmed in your proposal.
- Prices exclude VAT and other taxes. Where VAT or another tax is legally due, it is added to the invoice. For business clients outside the European Union, Dutch VAT is generally not charged on our services; any local taxes, duties or withholding obligations in your country are your responsibility.
- Bank charges and currency-conversion costs on your side are borne by you.
- We may change the price of an ongoing subscription after the initial term by giving at least 30 days’ written notice. Prices are fixed during the initial term, and for the full booked term of a HARO campaign. If you do not accept a price change, you may end the subscription before the new price takes effect.
5. Invoicing and payment
- Subscriptions are invoiced monthly in advance. The first invoice is issued when you accept the proposal; work starts once it has been paid.
- Invoices are payable within 14 days of the invoice date, unless the invoice or agreement states otherwise.
- Questions or objections about an invoice should be raised within 14 days of the invoice date.
- If an invoice is not paid on time, we will send a reminder. If it remains unpaid, we may charge statutory commercial interest under Dutch law and reasonable collection costs.
- If an invoice is more than 14 days overdue after a reminder, we may suspend the work until payment is received. Suspension does not end the agreement or the fees due during the initial term, and work missed during a suspension does not have to be caught up.
- Fees paid are non-refundable, except where these Terms or the law expressly provide otherwise.
6. SEO subscriptions
Term and cancellation
- SEO subscriptions start with an initial term of 3 months. After that, they continue month-to-month until either party cancels with 30 days’ written notice. You may give notice during the initial term so that the subscription ends when the initial term ends.
- First-month onboarding is included in every subscription. Onboarding covers the initial assessment, baseline and roadmap described in your package.
- Upgrades take effect from the next billing month. Downgrades take effect after the initial term, from the next billing month after notice.
Scope
- Each subscription covers one eligible English-language website and one primary market(for example the United States, the United Kingdom or Canada), unless agreed otherwise in writing.
- The monthly deliverables are those listed for your package — for example the number of page optimizations, new pages or rewrites, and minor technical fixes.
- Minor technical fixes are small, self-contained changes that can be completed within the monthly capacity of your package — such as correcting titles and meta data, redirects, internal links, indexing settings or structured data on a standard content management system.
- The following are outside the scope of every package unless separately agreed and quoted: complex custom development, website redesigns, platform or domain migrations, multi-site or multi-language international implementations, paid advertising, and work on additional websites or markets.
- Monthly deliverables relate to that month and do not roll over to later months, unless we agree otherwise in writing. If we fall short in a month for reasons on our side, we will make up the shortfall in the following month.
Access and implementation
- You provide timely access to the systems we need — typically your content management system, Google Search Console and, where available, analytics. Delays in access or approvals may delay the work; they do not extend our obligations or reduce the fees for that month, but we will reasonably try to reschedule.
- We take reasonable care when making changes to your website. You remain responsible for your website, hosting and backups, and for changes made by you or other parties.
7. HARO link building campaigns
Campaign term
- HARO packages (HARO Launch, HARO Growth and HARO Dominance) are booked as a fixed-term campaign of 3, 6 or 12 months, as stated in your accepted proposal. The monthly package price applies to every month of the booked term and is invoiced monthly in advance.
- A campaign ends automatically at the end of the booked term and does not renew. A new campaign only starts if we agree it in writing. Because the term is fixed, the fees for the full booked term remain payable if you end the campaign early, other than because of a material breach on our part.
- Each campaign covers one business or website and one expert spokesperson, unless agreed otherwise in writing.
Guaranteed minimums
- Each package guarantees a minimum number of editorial backlinks over the booked term: at least 5 for HARO Launch, at least 10 for HARO Growth and at least 30 for HARO Dominance.
- All links counted toward the minimum come from websites with a Domain Rating (DR) of 30 or higher. Each package also guarantees minimums from high-authority and high-traffic websites (HARO Launch: at least 2 links from DR 70+ domains and 2 from high-traffic websites; HARO Growth: at least 2 links from DR 70+ domains and 2 from high-traffic websites; HARO Dominance: at least 6 links from DR 70+ domains and 6 from high-traffic websites).
- A link counts when it is an editorial backlink to your website, earned through a journalist response, and live and verifiable when we report it (with its URL and DR). Paid, sponsored or advertorial placements, private blog networks (PBNs) and link insertions are never used and never counted.
- Make-good policy. If a campaign’s link targets aren’t reached within the booked term, we keep working at no additional cost until they are — or until further execution becomes unreasonable. No refunds apply.
Editorial control
- Journalists, editors and publishers decide independently whether to use a contribution, how to edit it, which publication it appears in, the anchor text and placement of any link, and when the article goes live. We therefore guarantee the minimum number of links, not specific publications, anchor text or publication dates.
- Earned links can support your website’s authority, but we do not guarantee rankings, traffic, leads or revenue. We never pay for placements on your behalf.
- You approve the factual content of expert contributions where required and remain responsible for their accuracy. We will not invent credentials, experience or claims on your behalf, and we may decline to submit a contribution we believe is inaccurate or misleading.
8. Results and guarantees
Search results and media coverage depend on factors outside anyone’s control, including search engine algorithms, competition, the state of your website and the decisions of journalists and publishers. SEO usually takes several months to show its full effect.
We commit to carrying out the agreed work with care, skill and to a professional standard (an obligation of effort, not of result). The only result we guarantee is the minimum number of editorial backlinks of a HARO package, on the conditions and with the make-good policy described in section 7. We do not guarantee specific rankings, traffic, leads, revenue, publications or anchor text. Our reports separate the work we delivered from the outcomes observed, so you can judge both.
9. Your responsibilities
You agree to:
- provide accurate, complete, lawful and non-misleading information;
- have the necessary rights to all materials you give us (such as text, images, logos and data);
- give approvals, feedback and access within a reasonable time;
- share access securely, preferably through individual user accounts rather than shared passwords;
- ensure the factual accuracy of expert contributions you approve; and
- make sure that your website, offers and published content comply with the laws and regulations that apply to your business — particularly in regulated fields such as health, finance or legal services.
If inaccurate information, missing access or delayed approvals affect the work, our obligations are adjusted accordingly and the agreed fees remain due.
10. Intellectual property
- Once the relevant invoices have been paid in full, you own the deliverables we create specifically for you — such as the content we write and the reports and roadmaps we deliver — and may use them freely.
- Our methods remain ours. Our processes, templates, checklists, tools, know-how and general materials remain our property. Where they form part of a deliverable, you receive a non-exclusive, perpetual license to use them for your own business.
- Data from third-party tools included in reports remains subject to the terms of those tools.
- We will not name you as a client in our marketing without your permission.
11. Confidentiality and data protection
Both parties keep confidential any non-public information received from the other, during the agreement and for two years afterwards, unless disclosure is required by law. Access credentials are always treated as strictly confidential. When an agreement ends we stop using your accounts, and we recommend that you revoke our access.
We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Where we process personal data on your behalf as a processor, a data processing agreement as required by Article 28 GDPR forms part of our agreement and is available on request.
12. Liability
- Our total liability arising from or in connection with an agreement is limited to the fees you paid us under that agreement in the three (3) months before the event that gave rise to the claim.
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential damage, including lost profit, lost revenue, lost data, reputational damage, or loss of rankings or traffic.
- We are not liable for the decisions or actions of third parties — including search engines, journalists, publishers, journalist-request platforms, hosting providers and other suppliers of yours — or for damage resulting from inaccurate information you provided or changes made by you or others.
- These limitations do not apply to damage caused by our intent or deliberate recklessness, or to the extent liability cannot be limited by law.
- Any claim must be notified to us in writing within 12 months after you became aware, or should reasonably have become aware, of it.
- Neither party is liable for failing to perform due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control (force majeure), such as outages of essential third-party services.
13. Term and termination
- SEO subscriptions run for the initial term and then month-to-month, as described in section 6. HARO campaigns run for the booked term and then end, as described in section 7.
- If you end a subscription before the end of its initial term, other than because of a material breach on our part, the fees for the remainder of the initial term remain payable.
- Either party may terminate an agreement immediately by written notice if the other party materially breaches it and does not remedy the breach within 14 days of a written notice, or if the other party becomes insolvent or ceases its business.
- We may suspend or end our work immediately if we are asked to do something unlawful, deceptive or unethical — for example publishing false claims, inventing expertise or using spam tactics.
- On termination, invoices for work already performed remain payable, and you keep the deliverables you have paid for. If we end an agreement without cause, we refund any fees paid in advance for work not yet performed.
14. Third-party platforms and non-affiliation
Our Digital PR work uses journalist-request platforms such as Help a Reporter Out (HARO), Featured, Qwoted and Help a B2B Writer, and our SEO work relies on tools such as Google Search Console. Bink Media is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any of these platforms or by Google. All trademarks belong to their respective owners. We are not responsible for the availability, policies or decisions of these platforms, and we may change the sources and tools we use to deliver the agreed work.
15. General provisions
- Website. Information on binkmedia.co is general information and may change. Changes to prices or package descriptions do not affect an agreement that has already been formed.
- Changes to these Terms. We may update these Terms. For existing clients, changes take effect at the start of the next billing month at least 30 days after we notify you by email; if you do not agree, you may end your subscription before they take effect.
- Subcontracting. We may involve carefully selected specialists in delivering the work. We remain responsible for the work towards you.
- Notices may be given by email to the addresses used in our correspondence.
- Severability. If any provision is invalid, the remaining provisions remain in force and the invalid provision is replaced by a valid one that comes as close as possible to its purpose.
- Language. These Terms are written in English; the English version prevails.
16. Governing law and disputes
These Terms and every agreement with us are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG) does not apply. We will always try to resolve a disagreement together first. Disputes that cannot be resolved amicably will be submitted exclusively to the competent court in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
