The client journey

Six steps from hello to steady progress.

Simple by design. You always know which stage you’re in, what happens next and what — if anything — we need from you.

Your first 90 days

A clear start, month by month

No black box. Here is exactly what happens in your first quarter with us — from access and research to finished work and an honest review.

  1. Days 1–30

    Month 1: Onboard & understand

We learn your business, get the right access and build the plan.

    • Access & kickoff
    • Technical assessment / audit
    • Search visibility baseline
    • Keyword research & keyword map
    • Your 3-month roadmap
    • First quick wins
  2. Days 31–60

    Month 2: Implement

The roadmap turns into finished, visible work on your website.

    • Priority page optimizations
    • New content, per your plan
    • Technical fixes
    • Internal linking improvements
  3. Days 61–90

    Month 3: Measure & refine

We review what changed, report honestly and sharpen the next quarter.

    • Performance review
    • Monthly report
    • Refined roadmap
    • Quarterly strategy review (Growth & Scale)
    • Agree on next quarter’s priorities

After 90 days: month-to-month

Your plan continues on a monthly rolling basis. You can cancel with 30 days’ notice — no long lock-in.

An honest note: SEO results typically build over several months. The first quarter lays the foundation; we report the work delivered and the outcomes observed separately, so you can judge progress clearly.

How we communicate

Clear, calm and in writing.

You won’t be chasing an account manager for updates. Communication is predictable, documented and handled by the people who know your website.

All plans

Email, answered by people

Email is our main channel. You write to the people doing the work — not a ticket queue — and get a reply within one business day.

All plans

A monthly report

What we did, why it matters, what we observed in Search Console and what comes next — written in plain English, separating work delivered from outcomes observed.

Growth & Scale

Quarterly strategy reviews

Every quarter we step back: what worked, what didn’t and where the next three months should go — on a call with you. Scale adds a conversion-focused review.

How HARO link building campaigns work

Earned links, with a guaranteed minimum.

Our HARO link building service connects your expertise with journalists who are actively looking for sources. It runs as a fixed-term campaign of 3, 6 or 12 months alongside — or independently of — SEO.

  1. 01

    Expert profile

We define your spokesperson’s genuine expertise and the topics they can credibly speak about.

  2. 02

    Request monitoring

We watch journalist-request platforms for relevant opportunities that fit your expertise.

  3. 03

    Individual responses

Each response is researched and written individually — with your approval where facts are involved.

  4. 04

    Links & reporting

We verify every published link and report it monthly against your guaranteed minimum, with source and DR.

Each package guarantees a minimum of 5, 10 or 30 editorial backlinks from DR 30+ websites; if a target isn’t met in time, we keep working at no extra cost. Editors still decide the publication, anchor and go-live date, and we never promise rankings.

Quality standards

The rules we work by.

Non-negotiable, on every plan, for every client.

Human-reviewed, always

Tools and AI help us work efficiently. A person decides what to do and checks every deliverable before it reaches you.

Search-engine friendly methods

We follow Google’s Search Essentials. No tricks that could put your website at risk later.

No bought links or link schemes

Links should be earned. We don’t buy them, swap them or build them on networks of low-quality sites.

Documented changes

Every change we make to your site is listed in your monthly report, so nothing happens behind your back.

Your accounts stay yours

We work through access you grant on your own accounts — and you can revoke it at any time.

Honest reporting

We report what happened, including what didn’t work. No vanity metrics, no cherry-picked screenshots.

What we need from you

Your part is small. It matters.

SEO works best as a partnership. We do the heavy lifting — but a few things only you can provide.

Access

  • Google Search Console
  • Google Analytics (or your analytics tool)
  • A user account for your website / CMS
  • Google Business Profile, where relevant

Input

  • One point of contact who knows the business
  • Your goals, priority services and markets
  • Timely feedback and content approvals
  • A heads-up before redesigns or big site changes

Process questions

The practical details.

Want to see the deliverables? Read about our SEO services or compare SEO packages.

How quickly can we start?

Once you request a package, we reply within one business day. After the agreement and first invoice are in place, onboarding starts right away — how fast depends mostly on how quickly access can be arranged.

Do we need to have calls?

Not unless you want them. Most day-to-day communication happens by email, and every month you receive a written report. On Growth and Scale, we hold a quarterly strategy review on a call.

What if we don’t have Search Console or analytics set up?

That’s common, and not a problem. We’ll explain how to set them up during onboarding — it takes a few minutes — and our first baseline starts from there.

Do you need full admin access to our website?

We need a user account that lets us make the agreed changes — usually an editor or administrator role in your CMS. If you prefer, we can deliver some work for your team to publish, though that tends to slow progress.

Will you change things on our site without asking?

Routine SEO work — like fixing a broken link or improving a meta description — is part of the plan and documented in your report. New pages and substantial copy changes are shared for your approval before they go live.

What happens after the first three months?

Your plan continues month to month with the same deliverables. You can cancel with 30 days’ written notice. Most importantly, the roadmap keeps evolving based on what the data shows.

Your first step

Start with a simple request.

Choose a package or ask a question. A real person replies within one business day with an honest view of whether we’re the right fit.

3-month initial term, then month to month · 30 days’ written notice · onboarding included
